February 2019 – Dividend Buys & Dividend Income
Dividend Growth Investing can be fun and entertaining, why do Investors choose to invest in Dividend Stocks over anything else?
When writing this, it will be my second year having started up a Roth IRA over on M1 Finance and can already see the snowball effect dividends are having on the portfolio.
Let’s go ahead and cover February’s Buys & Dividend Payout.

What Stocks Did I Buy:
As shown above, every week this month I added $115.38 for a total of $461.52 of new equity going into the market.
I used the new equity as well as re-invested dividends to increase my annual income going forward by $24.39!
Dividend Stock Increases?
Cisco Systems, increased their yearly dividend from $1.32 to $1.40, an increase of $.08 or 5.88% Per Share.
This Stock’s dividend Income increased to $17.71 going forward.
Main Street Capital, increased their yearly dividend from $2.34 to $2.40, an increase of $.06 or 2.53% Per Share.
This Stock’s dividend Income to $6.26 going forward.
Walmart Inc, increased their yearly dividend from $2.08 to $2.12, an increase of $.04 or 1.90% Per Share.
This Stock’s dividend Income to $13.20 going forward.
3M Co, increased their yearly dividend from $5.44 to $5.76, an increase of $.32 or 5.71% Per Share.
This Stock’s dividend Income to $11.82 going forward.
Essex Property Trust, increased their yearly dividend from $7.44 to $7.80, an increase of $.36 or 4.72% Per Share.
This Stock’s dividend Income to $12.65 going forward.
Simon Property Group, increased their yearly dividend from $8.00 to $8.20, an increase of $.20 or 2.47% Per Share.
This Stock’s dividend Income to $22.08 going forward.
Increase Over Last Year?
In February 2018, I had made $252.06 in Dividends. This February 2019, my dividend income is $61.83.
This is an decrease of ~121%, this was because of a large withdrawal in order to start my business.
